Day 01: Arrive Guwahati
Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport, meet your representative and transfer to the hotel. If time permits, visit the sacred Kamakhya Temple overlooking the Brahmaputra River. Overnight stay at hotel in Guwahati.
Day 02: Guwahati – Shillong (Approx. 100 km | 3 hrs)
Drive into the scenic Khasi Hills to Shillong, the charming capital of Meghalaya. En route visit beautiful Umiam Lake. Later explore local markets and colonial-era surroundings. Overnight stay at hotel in Shillong.
Day 03: Shillong – Mawlynnong – Dawki – Shillong (Approx. 170 km | Full Day)
Visit Mawlynnong, celebrated as one of Asia's cleanest villages, known for Khasi culture and community tourism. Continue to Dawki, famous for the crystal-clear Umngot River where boats appear to float on air. Return to Shillong. Overnight stay at hotel in Shillong.
Day 04: Shillong – Cherrapunjee (Approx. 55 km | 2 hrs)
Drive to Cherrapunjee, one of the wettest places on Earth. Visit Nohkalikai Falls, limestone caves, viewpoints and, subject to walking conditions, the famous Living Root Bridges. Overnight stay at hotel in Cherrapunjee.
Day 05: Cherrapunjee – Guwahati (Approx. 150 km | 5 hrs)
Return to Guwahati, enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery en route. Evening at leisure along the Brahmaputra River. Overnight stay at hotel in Guwahati.
Day 06: Guwahati – Majuli (Approx. 320 km with ferry)
Drive to Jorhat and board a ferry to Majuli, the world's largest inhabited river island. Visit traditional Vaishnavite monasteries (Satras) and Mishing tribal villages. Overnight stay at hotel in Majuli.
Day 07: Majuli – Nameri National Park
Morning ferry back to the mainland and continue to Nameri National Park, known for birdlife, river scenery and Himalayan foothill forests. Overnight stay at hotel in Nameri.
Day 08: Nameri – Ziro Valley (Distance: Approx. 280 km | 8–9 Hours)
Drive through picturesque mountain landscapes to Ziro Valley, home of the unique Apatani Tribe, renowned for sustainable farming and distinctive traditions. Overnight stay at hotel in Ziro.
Day 09: Ziro Valley
Explore Apatani villages, paddy fields, traditional wooden homes and local culture while enjoying the peaceful beauty of the valley. Overnight stay at hotel in Ziro.
Day 10: Ziro – Dirang (Distance: Approx. 300 km | 8–9 Hours)
Drive through the Eastern Himalayas to Dirang, a beautiful mountain town known for hot springs, monasteries and traditional Monpa villages. Overnight stay at hotel in Dirang.
Day 11: Dirang – Tawang (Approx. 140 km | 6 hrs)
Cross spectacular Sela Pass (4,170 m) and admire alpine lakes before reaching Tawang. Overnight stay at hotel in Tawang.
Day 12: Tawang
Explore magnificent Tawang Monastery, the War Memorial, local markets and nearby monasteries while learning about Tibetan Buddhist culture. Overnight stay at hotel in Tawang.
Day 13: Tawang – Bomdila
Drive through dramatic Himalayan scenery to Bomdila. Visit Bomdila Monastery and enjoy panoramic mountain views. Overnight stay at hotel in Bomdila.
Day 14: Bomdila – Kaziranga National Park (Distance: Approx. 250 km | 6 Hours)
Descend into the plains of Assam and arrive at Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for the endangered one-horned rhinoceros. Overnight stay at resort in Kaziranga.
Day 15: Kaziranga – Mokokchung (Distance: Approx. 210 km | 6 Hours)
Enjoy an early morning jeep safari before continuing to Mokokchung, the cultural heartland of the Ao Naga community. Overnight stay at hotel in Mokokchung.
Day 16: Mokokchung – Mon (Distance Approx. 170 km | 6 Hours)
